Amprobe Battery Testers – Features and Benefits
The Amprobe BAT200 Battery Tester measures the amount of charge left in rechargeable and standard batteries. The analog display needle moves up and down a highly colored, calibrated scale to easily identify ‘good’ (green), ‘low’ (yellow), and ‘replace/recharge’ battery status. At the top of the scale you will find three color-coded labels. The labels indicate the percentage of total charge left in the battery, the amperes/amps remaining, and the battery’s temperature. This convenient and easy to use battery tester can help you identify a low battery, warn you of a high battery, or keep you from leaving the charger on too long.
With the Amprobe BAT200 you don’t have to guess at a battery’s charge life. When a battery is charging, it has just begun its charging cycle. If you overcharge a battery, the battery won’t stay charged, and you will notice it. The battery won’t operate until it has fully gone through its charge cycle. This allows you to leave the charger on, knowing that the battery is fully charged and ready to go when you need it. Amprobe’s built in programmable logic system ensures that your battery won’t ever be overcharged.
Another great feature of the Amprobe BAT200 is the Fahrenheit mode. When the Fahrenheit mode is activated, it will monitor the indoor and outdoor temperature. So if you forgot to bring your batteries along for your hike, or are in a cold climate and are in need of a jump start, the temperature gauge can ensure that you don’t overheat and risk your personal safety. You can monitor both temperature and pressure with the Fahrenheit mode!
One of the most important features on this battery tester that I wanted to include my review was the fact that it offers a USB connection for future charging and is backwards compatible with all of our other electric charging systems. If you ever need to change out your charging system, you will have one down, ready to go! In addition, the charging system is very easy to use. Just plug in your batteries, and it’s done!
Amprobe also offers a lot of other battery testing features that I found really useful. For example, they offer a temperature gauge with a display that will warn you of low temperatures and high temperatures. This is great for testing out different batteries before purchasing them. You can test out the temperature resistance as well, which can really come in handy when dealing with batteries like cell phones. If you’re really adventurous, you can even test out the pulse rate of the battery! This can be really helpful in making sure you get the maximum performance from your cell phone and can prevent you from buying a battery that won’t give you the right output.
The price on the Amprobe Battery Testers really does make it an excellent choice for anyone who needs a good battery tester. The price includes shipping, meaning that you’ll only pay a few dollars for the whole set! If you were to purchase the items separately, you’d have to spend a much larger amount of money! I’m glad that Amprobe makes these battery testers because it makes life easier for me. Between these testers, I’ve been able to save hundreds of dollars that I would have spent on batteries instead. That’s just what I love about Amprobe!
